On the 29th of September the Mitsubishi stand at the Paris Motor Show will be turning heads with the showcasing of their Ground Tourer GT-PHEV, a next generation SUV that embodies a merging of stunning design and modern technology. The Mitsubishi GT-PHEV is powered by a triple motor, advanced Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle system (PHEV).
Utilising Mitsubishi’s latest expression in design language, the Mitsubishi GT-PHEV draws forth a sense of adventure. The Dynamic Shield front styling provides a sense of protection for drivers and passengers alike while the overall design gives arise to a car that looks set to rise to any challenge hurled its way. The interior is garnished with leather trim set to match the colour co-ordinated exterior roof finish.
An electric only range of 120km or combined hybrid cruising range of 1,200km is achieved with a next-generation high-capacity drive battery package in tandem with 3 high-output, high-efficiency motors along with an engine designed to produce improved electricity generation and performance.
One motor at the front and two at the rear provide the four-wheel drive powertrain with precise control and the Super All Wheel Control (SAW-C) utilises the motor configuration to provide high levels of vehicle stability.
Externally connected networks provide Mitsubishi’s GT-PHEV with up to date route information comprising of road surface conditions and localised weather data, an array of on-board sensors and cameras manage electricity consumption and fuel economy to provide the best results for the current task at hand.
