Clad in a digital camouflage wrap this Nissan Rogue will be snapping necks at the Nissan’s New York International Auto Show booth. It’s one of two special Rogue project vehicles that will be showcased and is based on the X-Trail or Nissan Rogue as known in the USA.
The military inspired design features a digital camouflage wrap, khaki painted DOMINATOR Tracks and yellow glassworks. Further functionality is added with the addition of the ARB roof mounted gear basket, light bar as well as front mounted winch situated just above another set of LED light strips.
The DOMINATOR Tracks measure in at 122cm long, 76cm high and 38cm wide, traction concerns in any environment are a thing of the past with these fitted. Aside from the modified suspension and wheel wells, the track system works in conjunction with the standard drive train comprising of a 2.5-litre 4 cylinder petrol unit pushing 127kW of power backed up by 237Nm of torque through the Xtronic CVT transmission.
“This new Rogue Trail Warrior adds a new dimension to family adventures with its snow/sand tracks, gear basket, winch and camo paint,” said Michael Bunce, vice president, Product Planning, Nissan North America. “If you want to stand out from the crowd during a day on the slopes or the beach, this is the vehicle to take.”
